What do you know about village of Vinca, suburban area just 15 kilometers from Belgrade downtown? To find the village is quite easy. Just open your Google maps, and follow Danube stream to the Southeast Belgrade. Village is connected to the city by scenic historic route made back in Roman times, and also by water. In just 30 minutes of driving, you will find yourself in the hills, between peach orchards, wildlife, and a scent of countryside. Vinca has just 5000 residents, but also 3000 pupils who study in Nikola Tesla elementary school, which is largest in Serbia. Village is famous for its Neolithic archeological site "Belo brdo", and its Vinca culture museum exhibition, which is part of Museum of Belgrade. Its doors are open for visitors 6 days a week. Visitors can view the exhibition, and listen to curators about Stone age tools and jewlery made in Vinca 7000 years ago. Besides museum, Vinca does not have other public cultural institutions for young people. However, there are more than few unused public spaces and locations that are suitable for this. There are just few arts-culture organizations, KUD Vinca and Association of non-aligned artists.
